History of the Mai Tai Cocktail

The way you need to know the Mai Tai was created by Trader Vic in 1944 which was awesome. The method you would like the Mai Tai a lot more was modified in 1954 by the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Both these were most likely a mixture of stolen/inspired cocktail known as the QB Cooler created by Don the Beachcomber in 1937. However the Mai Tai you recognize is likely mainly interpreted by bartenders following the R .A .L .T .P .M . formula
