History of the B 52 Bomber Cocktail

The B 52 drink is a layered cocktail drink named after the American B-52 Bomber. It is not really known where the B 52 recipe originated. The B 52 drink started becoming popular in the late 1970s.

It is also a great shot to practice your layering skills with. This also makes a great, thick sipping cocktail when the ingredients are increased (keeping the same ratio), shaken, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.

Today, there are many recipe variations of the popular B 52 drink. Above is one version of the B 52 recipe that is easy to make and still tastes delicious.
